Pastor: Tezenlo Thong

Pastor Tezenlo and his family come to Vineland United Methodist Church from half-way around the globe. Tezenlo is from Nagaland, where he served churches for several years before coming to U.S. with his family. Also prior to coming to the U.S., he received his theological education in Nagaland, South Korea, and Israel. His desire for further education brought him and his family to the United States where he received the Master of Arts from Central Baptist Theological Seminary (Kansas City, KS) and the Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Denver and the Iliff School of Theology (Denver, CO). Tezenlo is married to Eunjung Han, who is from South Korea, and they have three children, Soye, Yechan and Nako. Their children were born in Korea, India, and the U.S., respectively. Moreover, Tezenlo grew up in a Baptist church, Eunjung went to a Presbyterian church, and their children are being brought up in the United Methodist churches. So not only is their family international, but they are also interdenominational and ecumenical.
